About the College
SSS College for Women was established in 2022-23 at Aagaram Village, Arni Taluk, under the AKN Educational Trust founded by Chairman Thiru A.K. Natarajan — who also runs the well-established SSS College of Arts, Science and Management, Arcot (since 2005).
The college is dedicated exclusively to women, providing a safe, empowering environment where students grow intellectually, professionally, and personally. Led by Dr. V. VijayaLakshmi, M.Com., M.Phil.,MBA., Ph.D. as Principal, the college combines experienced faculty, modern infrastructure, and strong values.
Our students participate in industrial visits, rural camps, entrepreneurial ventures, cultural activities, and sports — developing into well-rounded, socially responsible citizens. SSS College offers a unique combination of excellent graduates and accomplished faculty, with state-of-the-art computer labs, internet access, and a well-stocked digital library.

SSS College for Women was founded with a mission to provide education to women from different strata of society, imparting comprehensive education with in-depth knowledge not only in their respective disciplines but also in related areas.
SSS College for Women provides a supportive and empowering environment for women, creating a strong sense of community among female students. The college provides many opportunities for leadership development, attitudes, and practical experience — necessary to take up social responsibilities in society.

Thiru A.K. Natarajan is the chairman of AKN Educational Trust. Initially he was engrossed in business. During those days, he was ruminating about starting educational institutions.
Since 2005, he established an Educational Trust in the name of A.K.N. Educational Trust at Arcot, with his family members as Trustees. In the same year the Trust began SSS College of Arts, Science and Management in Arcot, accompanied by 150 students. At present, nearly 1,850 students are studying in the SSS College of Arts, Science and Management, Arcot, with nearly 80 staff (Teaching & Non-Teaching) performing very well.
During 2018, he created an Educational Trust in the name of SSS Educational Trust at Arcot. In the same year, the Trust started SSS Matriculation School, LKG to VIII standard, with a strength of 100 students. In 2018, SSS Matriculation High School was extended up to 10th Standard and then up to +2 (Plus Two) in 2021, with 300 students.
In the course of 2022-23, the Trust began SSS College for Women in Aagaram Village, Arni Taluk, Thiruvannamalai District — bringing the same legacy of academic excellence to women in this region.
